Following the success of their first gym at Batheaston – where their oldest client is 95 years old – Pettemerides Personal Training have opened a branch at Glenmore Business Centre.

The ground floor of the premises houses a fully equipped studio gym offering personal training and supervised gym sessions, while the first floor has three treatment rooms providing sports massage, physiotherapy, and foot health care.

Helen Pettemerides and her colleague Dylan Worthington have more than 25 years experience between them, and they specialise in GP referrals, and exercise for older people and those with back pain or injuries. T

They are also experienced in working with clients with medical conditions such as arthritis, Parkinsons, MS, and those with hip or knee replacements.

Helen Pettemerides said: “The fitness side of the gym is aimed at those who would feel intimidated by going to a mainstream gym.

“Our gym in Batheaston attracts many older clients and those with medical conditions - we are able to give them expert advice and provide an encouraging and friendly atmosphere.

“These clients don’t seem to be catered for at other gyms.”
