A series of five employment law training courses to help employers deal with workplace queries better and mitigate the risk of disputes efficiently and effectively are being offered by law firm Royds Withy King.
Between April and June, employment solicitor Helen Lucas will be running the HR training courses covering what business owners and managers need to know about the lifecycle of the employment relationship.
The course content will cover:
• Recruitment and employment contracts – Tuesday, April 25
• Dealing with sickness – Thursday, May 11
• Managing performance – Tuesday, May 23
• Disciplinary and grievance – Thursday, June 8
• Dismissing an employee – Tuesday, June 20
The interactive courses cover not only the legal position, but practical employment scenarios in which delegates can apply their learning.
Workshops can be purchased in isolation, although it is recommended that delegates attend all five – and there’s a discount for booking the whole run.
The courses will be run at Royds Withy King’s offices at 34 Regent Circus, Swindon, SN1 1PY from 8.30am to 10.30am. The cost of each course is £70 +VAT.
