Parliamentary candidates from across Swindon and Wiltshire will be quizzed by business leaders about their policies ahead of the general election on June 8.
Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership has organised an event in each constituency in its patch. Business leaders are being invited to listen to the candidates outline their parties’ manifestos, and take part in a Q&A session.
Anyone who can’t attend the session, but would still like to ask a question, can submit it via email for consideration.
SWLEP chairman John Mortimer said: “Have you any burning questions for the candidates? Do you want to know how they would support small businesses, what is their response to the proposed Industrial Strategy, or what they wish to see emerge from Brexit negotiations?
“You could ask them in person on the day or, if you are unable to attend the sessions, email your questions to us and we will ask them on your behalf.”
The meeting dates and venues are:
Monday, May 22, Swindon Marriott
Tuesday, May 23, The Wiltshire Hotel Golf and Leisure Club, Royal Wootton Bassett
South West Wiltshire
Tuesday, May 23, Westbury Golf Club
Wednesday, May 24, Best Western Plus Angel Hotel, Chippenham
Friday, May 26, Blunsdon House
Friday, May 26, The Bear Hotel, Devizes
Each event runs from 7.30am until 9.30am and is free to attend. To book a place, click the constituency name.
