Construction boss to outline plans for house-building with a heart

on .

Gerraint OakleyGerraint OakleyThe managing director of house-builder Curo will be speaking to business leaders in Chippenham next month about house-building with a heart.

Curo is currently building Mulberry Park, a prestigious development of 700 new homes, a school and community centre near Combe Down in Bath.

In a first-of-its-kind building scheme, not only will 30 percent of the houses be affordable, but profits from this scheme will be used to regenerate the neighbouring social housing estate of Foxhill, which has around 500 houses.

Curo, which builds houses for purchase and rent, believes that the traditional housing supply must be supported by innovative solutions, ultimately helping to solve the UK housing shortage.

Gerraint will be speaking at the Monahans Business Breakfast at Chippenham Golf Club on Wednesday, September 20 from 7.30am.

Attendance costs £12.95. For more information, or to book a place, visit www.monahans.co.uk/events
