Infrastructure and tech skills will form part of digital strategy

on .

Infrastructure and connectivity and skills and talent are likely to form part of a Swindon and Wiltshire digital strategy, along with ideas and innovation and digital adoption and productivity.

The themes have become to emerge from workshops with the business community as Swindon & Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership begins to formulate a local digital strategy that will underpin the prioritisation of digital capability investments.

The Government’s UK Digital Strategy sets out the vision for developing a world-leading digital economy and is committed to realising the potential of the sector, ensuring the UK is seen as the best place to start and grow a digital business, recognising that connectivity drives productivity and innovation.

Swindon & Wiltshire’s Digital Strategy will inform a local response to the UK Government’s Industrial Strategy and provide the evidence base and rationale to underpin the prioritisation of digital capability investments in Swindon & Wiltshire.

The next opportunity for businesses to get involved is at either a business breakfast event in Salisbury or a business lunch event in Royal Wootton Bassett on Wednesday, April 25. To register, visit https://growthhub.swlep.co.uk and click on Events.
