Bid experts win place in Government's digital marketplace

Denise O'LearyDenise O'LearyBid management experts Purpol Marketing have won five places on the Government's digital marketplace G-Cloud.

G-Cloud was set up by the Government to help suppliers better bid for local and central government tenders, as part of its move towards a central platform for all procurement services.

Buying services through frameworks is faster and cheaper than entering into individual procurement contracts.

Chippenham-based Purpol Marketing can now offer professional services to suppliers in five key areas: bid management, writing, and support; tender writing; award entry writing; tender management support; and bid management services to the construction sector.

To become a G-Cloud approved supplier, organisations had to prove their expertise. Only consultants that understand the market and technologies with an expert level candidate network are selected.

Managing director Denise O’Leary said: "We are thrilled to be selected for every lot we bid for on this significant national framework. We have previously advised our clients how to successfully secure a place on G-Cloud and decided that for this generation, we would bid ourselves, as much of our bid writing support is provided in the cloud.

“We live and breath bid writing to help our clients to win and we work across many sectors across the UK so it made sense to make sure we had a prominent presence on the framework as Purpol.

"By winning 5 lot places we have put ourselves in the position to be selected from when clients are looking to use the ease of the framework to procure bid writing expertise.”
