Pharmaceutical packaging firm recognised as region’s top large business

The award, which was sponsored by NatWest, recognised a shortlist of larger companies, employing over 50 employees, that are making a significant contribution to the region and leading the advancement of their sector, as well as showing solid growth and financial performance, investment in research and development and a commitment to CSR.

Representatives from Swindon-based Wasdell joined over 600 other key players in business from across the South West to see the winners announced by comedian Russell Kane.

Wasdell was hailed for its foresight in the market, investment in equipment and skills which has allowed them to take a step ahead of their competitors, and their growth which now covers over 26 countries world-wide.

Martin Tedham, chief executive of Wasdell, said: “The pharmaceutical market is still strong across the globe and thanks to our planning and investment in new ways of working and technologies we have grown rapidly over the last twelve years.
