Business leaders confused by this week's Brexit amendment debates, or worried about the implications of no deal, have a final chance to press a Wiltshire MP for answers.
Michelle Donelan, MP for Chippenham will be the last of three MPs to address members of the Inspire network, following star turns by Eurosceptic North Wiltshire MP James Gray before Christmas, and remainer Claire Perry, MP for Devizes, last week.
Before the 2016 referendum, Michelle Donelan described herself as "a lifelong Eurosceptic" who was, nonetheless, opposed to the UK leaving the European Union, telling readers of the Gazette & Herald: "The cost of coming out is high and will undermine all that we have done to repair the British economy.
"An Out vote is a massive gamble and I will not play poker with the lives and livelihoods of Chippenham constituency residents – the stakes are too high."
And in a series of crunch Withdrawal Bill votes in the House of Commons last night (Tuesday) she voted against the Labour, Spelman, Cooper, Grieve, Reeves and SNP amendments, and for the Brady amendment – requiring Theresa May to renegotiate the backstop.
February's Meet Your MP breakfast is open to all Wiltshire businesses – not just those in the Chippenham constituency.
The event will be held at Cumberwell Park Golf Club, Bradford-on-Avon, BA15 2PQ on Friday, February 22 from 7.30am until 9am.
Tickets, priced at £16 for Inspire members and £36 for non-members, are available from www.inspirebiz.co.uk
