Electrical contractor HRHislop has rewarded its 1,000th customer by presenting her with a bottle of champagne.
The Devizes-based firm fitted lights to the mezzanine of the converted chapel Great Cheverell occupied by Sue Austin just days after marking the firm's 10th anniversary.
Harry Hislop presented the bottle of Gold Imperial Moet & Chandon Champagne to Sue with apprentice Jack Skyrme, who had carried out the installation.
The champagne was a fitting token for Sue, who retired last October from her role as Superintendent with Wiltshire Police after 30 years.
Coincidentally, Sue is embarking on a cocktail making course ahead of launching her own mixology business.
HRHislop are likened to the Eddie Stobart of electrical contracting, with high levels of customer service and pride themselves in their presentation and tidiness of their work.
"I’m thrilled my company has come through the rollercoaster of recessions and today we’re celebrating transforming somebody’s treasured home with better lighting. I love to see the difference we can make,” said Harry.
