Expanding accountancy firm Haines Watts has taken on a new trainee accountant.
18-year-old Tom Absalom, from Royal Wootton Bassett, is a former student of Royal Wootton Bassett Academy where he secured A -level qualifications in mathematics, further mathematics and geography.
He’s now joined the team at Haines Watts Swindon, based in Old Town, and is working towards his Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification and attends New College in Swindon one day a week.
Tom said: “I’m really enjoying the experience of learning alongside the team at Haines Watts Swindon. I decided some time ago the accountancy profession was the right route for me towards a successful career – I wanted the discipline of working in the sector which interests me from day one.”
