Independent property consultancy Alder King has appointed Ben Rush as a senior surveyor in its valuation and lease advisory team, and promoted Elaine Summers and Will Acock to senior surveyor.
Ben Rush joins Alder King as a RICS registered valuer after eight years working with JLL in Sweden. His appointment is part of the ongoing expansion of Alder King’s South West valuation and lease advisory team.
Elaine Summers, who qualified as a chartered surveyor in 2008, joined Alder King’s building consultancy team in June 2017. Her rapid promotion is in recognition of the consistently high calibre building surveying services that she provides to private and public sector clients, including design and contract administration, dilapidations, planned maintenance programmes and building surveys.
Will Acock joined Alder King in 2014 to expand the firm’s lease advisory and valuation capability in Devon. Over that time, Will has tripled the office’s lease advisory instruction level. In 2017 he took up an opportunity to join the firm’s agency team, led by partner Noel Stevens, providing advice to developers, investors and occupiers in all major property markets, whilst continuing to develop his lease advisory service line. His promotion recognises the significant success that Will has made of this move.
Commenting on the announcement, Martyn Jones, senior partner at Alder King, said: “I am delighted to welcome Ben to Alder King and am sure he will make a strong and valuable contribution to the business.
“Elaine and Will are relatively new to Alder King but both have made a significant mark in their respective fields in a short period of time. They are both great team players and consummate professionals who have delivered consistently strong results both for our clients and the firm.”
Alder King is one of the UK’s leading independent property consultancies, providing award-winning services to private and public sector clients on all aspects of commercial property and land.
