Claire has worked in private client since qualifying as a solicitor in 2009. After training with Forrester Sylvester Mackett, Claire returned in 2016 after working for a firm in Bath.

Claire is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Lisa is a conveyancing executive, and has been with the firm since 1989. Lisa has a very loyal following of clients who return to her time and time again for residential conveyancing help.

Ruth completed her pupillage to qualify as a barrister in 2004. She now specialises in family law, including divorce/dissolution and matrimonial/partnership finance, as well as disputes involving children.

Ruth is a member of Resolution, a network of family justice professionals dedicated to the constructive resolution of family disputes.

Ruth combines her court advocacy experience with her office-based advice, enabling clients to have continuity of representation throughout their case.

Managing partner Nick Guinness said “We are delighted to have promoted Claire and Lisa to associate. Claire trained with us, and Lisa has worked with us for almost her entire career, so it is great to recognise these truly home-grown talents.

"We are also excited about Ruth becoming a partner at the firm. Having our own in-house barrister is relatively unusual, and means we can see our clients’ cases through from start to finish without bringing in outside counsel.”
