Audit, tax and consulting firm RSM has strengthened its private client team in Swindon with the promotion of Zoe Martin to partner.
Zoe's promotion, which became effective from 1 April 2019, is one of nine partner promotions across the country designed to support the firm's future growth.
Zoe began her tax career in Swindon in 1997, before relocating to work in London for over ten years. In 2012, she returned to Swindon to join RSM, working her way up the ranks from associate director.
Since returning to Swindon, Zoe has become a qualified member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and joined the firm's high net worth specialist group, helping to develop and grow RSM's local private client tax advisory practice.
The Swindon office now boasts one of the region's strongest private client practices, with two partners and 12 staff offering a holistic tax planning service for a wide range of clients including high net worth individuals, partners, entrepreneurs, business owners, trustees and executors of family estates.
The Swindon private client practice has particular areas of specialism in relation to global tax planning for clients with international affairs and providing estate and succession planning for rural and landed estate clients.
Sharon Omer-Kaye, who leads RSM's private client business in the Thames Valley said: "Zoe already has a strong track record in providing high quality advice to her clients and has been instrumental in growing the firm's respected private client practice. I’m absolutely delighted that she has secured her promotion to partner which is testament to her talent and hard work.
"Zoe will play an important role as an ambassador for RSM as we seek to further grow our private client practice here in Swindon and across the Thames Valley region."
