Bowden Group Ltd has acquired the 2,228 sq ft (206.98 sq m) Unit 26, at leafy Whaddon Business Park, Whaddon, three miles from the city centre.

Property consultancy Myddelton & Major brokered the deal that saw Bowden take a 999-year lease (from 1989) for which the quoting leasehold price was £197,500.

Myddelton & Major partner Dean Speer said: “The company – a joinery installation business headquartered at Emery Down, Lyndhurst and headed by Steve Bowden – was seeking conveniently-located premises in the Salisbury area and we were happy to oblige.

“The property is situated on Whaddon Business Park, which is at a prominent and highly accessible position adjacent to the A36 trunk road, the main route between Southampton, M27 corridor and Salisbury/Bristol.

“It is always heartening to see trade businesses taking new units as it is a clear demonstration of confidence in the sector.”

The property is a modern light industrial/warehouse unit which has been improved with the addition of ground and first floor offices. There are cloakroom and kitchen facilities in the warehouse and the unit has four allocated parking spaces.
