Two shop units in a new-build, mixed-use development in Amesbury town centre have been sold on long leases.
A private investor has snapped up Shop Units 1 & 2, Sloane Court, at 37-39 High Street, through property consultancy Myddelton & Major.
Quoting price for Unit 1 was £60,000 and for the larger Unit 2 is was £150,000, both on new 999-year leases.
Myddelton & Major partner Simon Lee said: “This development is proving popular in both the commercial and residential fields.
“Our purchaser, a private investor, bought both shops, let simultaneously on full repairing and insuring leases to local tenants.
“This quality build by HHM Developments includes eight houses, five apartments and two retail units, all finished to a very high standard.
“The sale of these two adjoining retail premises was virtually immediate having agreed the lettings and reflects the strength of demand for such investments, as the lot sizes were an ideal price range for several interested parties seeking a secure rental income from new built properties.”
The development occupies a busy town centre trading position fronting High Street, close to the junction with Fairfax Close.
