The recognised lack of industrial property in Swindon and Wiltshire has led to a flurry of enquiries over two industrial units in Corsham.
Stephen Brickell, commercial property manager at Kavanaghs, said he was “inundated with enquires” when two units came to market at the popular Fiveways Trading Estate.
The 9,702 sq ft Unit A11, which was marketed at £60,000 pax, has been occupied by CD and vinyl distributor Discovery Records on a five-year lease.
And Unit C3, which extends to 3,000 sq ft and was marketed at £15,000 pax, was taken on a six-year lease by Status Audio Visual, which supplies PA systems and plasma screens to the events industry.
“The industrial market remains buoyant and a lack of quality stock is maintaining robust rents,” said Stephen.
