A company specialising in site investigations and geotechnical services has moved into its new base in Westbury.
Topdrill was established in 2006 and provides drilling services to assist with foundation design and other areas of construction. Using a range of specialist rig equipment, the company has performed site investigations for thousands of clients throughout the UK, providing detailed analysis to assist with a range of construction projects.
The company has signed a five year lease with landlord HPH Commercial Property at the Woodland Industrial Estate in Westbury, which will act as a regional base employing seven people.
Traditionally working for a range of rail clients including VolkerFitzpatrick, Murphy, BCS Design and Amey, Topdrill has expanded its range of services and now works across a broader spectrum of industries.
Jack Marshall, rotary operations manager at Topdrill said, “As a company we have invested in up to date technology, allowing us to offer a comprehensive range of services to all of our clients.
"As a result our business has continued to grow which is why we needed a new base for a team to operate from, serving predominantly Wales and the South West but with easy access to major transport routes to the rest of the UK.”
“The Woodland Industrial Estate is the perfect place for Topdrill to allow us to grow as a business due to its good location and local workforce."
Lindsay Holdoway, managing director of HPH Commercial Property added, “We’re pleased to welcome Topdrill to the Woodland Industrial Estate. It was important for the company to find a strategic base to allow them easy access to all of the UK, but particularly Wales and the South West.
"Westbury is an excellent location for them and we wish them every success in their new home.”
