The modern property sits on a 0.28 acre prominent corner site on George Lane, one of the main routes into the town, and provides 4,069 sq ft of indoor showroom, offices and workshop space.

Externally there is an extensive external display area to the front and side of the property providing 27 car spaces, with a further 16 car spaces on the other side of the estate road.

The freehold of the property is being offered with vacant possession with a guide price of £635,000.

The disposal of the site follows the collapse of Now Vauxhall, which went into administration earlier this year.

Now acquired the site – and another dealership in Swindon – from Skurrays in 2016. Dating back to 1899, Skurrays was the oldest name in the UK motor trade.

James Gregory, partner at Alder King, said: “This is a rare opportunity to purchase a prominent well-ordered property in this bustling market town.

"Whilst the property was originally developed as a modern car showroom, it would be suitable for a number of other uses.”
