More development at Bluestone

The Bluestone CentreThe Bluestone CentreThe second phase of the popular Bluestone Centre near Amesbury is now underway, with the third sector already being planned.

The first phase of the first new business centre development for more than a decade on the town’s giant 160-acre Solstice Park is rapidly filling.

Property consultancy Myddelton & Major has announced another successful letting with Unit 10 being taken by Renewable and Fusion Energy firm Seamach Ltd.

The company has signed a five-year lease on the 1,485 sq ft unit for which the quoting rent was £8,750 per annum.

Myddelton & Major associate Rachael Wythe said: “It is so pleasing to see continued growth at Bluestone. It is further evidence of confidence in the market that this on-spec development should prove so successful.

“This latest letting achieved at the Bluestone Centre development shows that – with the second phase of the development underway and a third being planned – there is no time like the present to register an interest.

“Much of the first phase was acquired off-plan, which demonstrates a great demand for this type of unit and a general lack of supply in the region.”

Bluestone is the first new business centre development at the strategically-located Solstice Park since the Beacon Centre in 2005.

It is significant for employment prospects in Wiltshire with 131,630 people of employment age living within a 30 minute drive.”

The 36-unit centre is being developed by Salisbury-based Nationwide Engineering Group with the first phase of 12 units completed in 2017.
