Entrepreneur named best female marketeer in UK

Denise O'LearyBusinesswoman Denise O’Leary has been named the best female marketing expert in the UK.

Denise, founder of bid management consultancy Purpol Marketing, scooped the accolade at The Best Business Women Awards.

Her talent and success was recognised at a gala final held at Tewin Bury Farm, Welwyn.

“I am absolutely thrilled to win this national award and be selected from over 700 entrants from female entrepreneurs throughout the UK, women who are real trailblazers in their industries," said Denise.

“To be judged as a winner by business experts in a rigorous process is a real accolade. The marketing category is new this year and I am delighted to be the first recipient of it.”

The awards have proved so successful that they will move to a central London location next year with nominations opening in March for the 2019 celebration.

Denise has been a chartered marketer since 2005 and has 20 years’ experience in marketing.
