Young entrepreneur Ed Hollands has been named as one of two keynote speakers at next month's South West Expo in Swindon.
The 23-year-old launched DrivenMedia, an advertising agency which creates mobile billboards on commercial trailers for brands, organisations and businesses, after securing investment from Jenny Campbell on the TV show Dragon's Den.
He will be joined on the podium by John Davies, an internationally-renowned entrepreneur and pioneer in the UK’s finance industry. John has been involved in multiple businesses and is now the founder of Just Cash Flow PLC, which is currently lending £1M a week to UK based SMEs.
More than 36,000 SMEs have attended the South West Expo since it was launched in Swindon in 2012. More than 1,300 visitors and 130 exhibitors are expected at this year's event, which will be held at STEAM Museum.
The seventh annual expo features three new industry specific workshops, new clinics, and networking sessions.
Alec Jones-Hall, director of The South West Expo said: “I am delighted to be bringing this year’s expo back to Swindon and have no doubt that this year will again deliver another highly successful business show for the region.
"Our passion is supporting regional business growth and this show is designed around ensuring that both exhibitors and delegates have platform to network, be inspired and empowered to grow their business.”
Ian Larrard, director of Swindon & Wiltshire Initiative at Business West said: “Business West is delighted to be supporting The South West Expo again for its 7th year.
"The fact that the Expo is totally free of charge to attend means that it presents SMEs with unrivalled networking and learning opportunities.
"The Expo gets bigger every year and it is regarded as of the key business events of the summer for many local businesses.”
