Businesses from Swindon and Wiltshire will be the first to hear the quarterly Inflation Report from the Bank of England's deputy agent for the South West, Malindi Myers.
Malindi will discuss the quarterly inflation report, due to be published 1 August, and give her analysis of the regional economy and business conditions at the MHA Monahans Bank of England breakfast on Thursday, August 15.
Malindi Myers became an Agent for the Bank of England South West area in April 2018. Before she joined the Bank of England, Malindi worked for HM Treasury; the Office for National Statistics; the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and the European Commission.
Her work has mainly been on economic policy formulation and appraisal, as well as providing evidence to underpin economic policy.
Dominic Bourquin, partner at MHA Monahans, said: "This event is your perfect opportunity to find out what’s happening in the global economies and financial markets, alongside great networking opportunities and a breakfast roll.
“It’s a chance to get a practical insight, and to discuss how businesses in Swindon and Wiltshire will be affected.”
The breakfast will be held from 7.30am at the Double Tree Hilton, in Lydiard Fields, Swindon. Attendance costs £15. For more information, or to book a place, visit www.monahans.co.uk/events/swindon-bank-of-england-breakfast-1
