Charity offers driver training to improve road safety

on .

Road safety charity Brake is offering driver training programme to fleet managers and driver trainers in Swindon.

Pledge Training is based on six key areas of road safety, addressing the specific issues that face at-work drivers as a high-risk group on our roads.

Brake wants all at-work drivers to make a pledge to reduce the risk of accidents, challenging speeding, alcohol use, mobile phone use, fatigue, and the use of seatbelts.

The programme covers:

  • Six key areas of occupational road risk
  • What employers should be doing to manage their risk
  • How to educate and engage drivers with road safety messages

The training will be delivered by Tracey Fuller, UK Head of CSR at Windmill Hill Business Park-based vehicle leasing company Arval.

Training courses, which cost £75 +VAT, are being held on Thursday, September 26 and again on Thursday, December 12. To book a place visit https://globalfleetchampions.org/events
