Solicitors at Devizes law firm Wansbroughs have been recognised in the prestigious Legal 500 guide.
The personal injury: defendant team, which acts for local authorities, schools, and insurers, was ranked tier three.
The team, which the directory describes as "professional and supportive" with "a strong ethos of excellence" advises on occupiers’ liability, employers’ liability, public liability claims and inquest work.
The directory singles out "the knowledgeable and hugely experienced" Robert Hams for praise, saying he provides "an exceptional and unrivalled service’ when defending stress, bullying and harassment claims."
Meanwhile, the private client team – which "offers technical advice on the establishment of trusts and tax planning, particularly concerning inheritance tax and capital gains tax" was ranked tier four.
Department head Alan Ciechan is a very well-respected legal brain, while colleague Andrew Jenkins "is a highly able and instinctive private client lawyer.

Trust and estate planning expert Anna Wensley Stock, notes the directory, "has a razor-sharp legal mind."
