Electronics firm meets Investors in People gold standard

Power electronics components distributor PPM has retained its Investors in People gold standard, putting it in the top 16 percent of IIP organisations.

PPM currently employs over fifty people across its two sites on Shrivenham Hundred Business Park near Swindon. The company has continued to grow in recent years across all four business lines.

Lorna Fairbairn, IIP South practitioner, said: “PPM continues to be a recognised Investor in People organisation putting them in the top 16 percent of all Investor in People organisations. “They have an embedded culture of trusting and empowering people to come up with ideas and improvements.

"People also feel valued and appreciated for their work which is acknowledged in a number of ways. This result is testament to PPM’s ongoing effort in taking on feedback and always looking to improve.” PPM has been IIP accredited since 2004 and first achieved the gold standard in 2016.
