Swindon’s longest-established homeless charity, Threshold Housing Link, has a new website thanks to designers at Gel Studios.

Managing director Graeme Leighfield made the offer after hearing about the charity's work from chief development officer Michael Keenan at a networking event.

“I feel that it's our duty as business owners to give back where we can to worthwhile causes in and around our local community," said Graeme.

"At GEL Studios we were only too pleased to donate a whole website to help Threshold realise their visions which included in-depth planning, design, and development.

“Homelessness has many stigmas surrounding it - and we wanted to use our experience as digital storytellers to debunk these myths, change perceptions, and create long term awareness to members of the community."

The team also took part in last year's Big Sleep Out, where Business Against Homelessness members spend a winter's night under the stars – often in wet of freezing conditions.

Michael Keenan said: "“We are very grateful to Graeme and his wonderful team that have worked so hard with us shaping our website and we are thrilled with the outcome."

This year's Big Sleep Out will be held on Friday, December 6. Details can be found at https://www.thl.org.uk/events/the-big-sleepout-2019/
