More than 700 businesses have applied for funding through Wiltshire Council's Discretionary Grant scheme.
The government-funded one-off grant worth £5,000 was established to help support small and micro-businesses that have suffered a significant fall in income due to Covid-19.
It was anticipated that it would help businesses in shared spaces including offices, industrial parks and science parks which missed out on other funding criteria because do not have their own business rates assessment.
Applications for the grant scheme closed on Monday.
Meanwhile, the council has confirmed that 5,301 Wiltshire businesses have received Small Business grants totalling £53 million and a further 1,920 businesses in the retail, hospitality and leisure sectors have received grants totalling £33.36 million.
Of the 1,920 businesses in the retail, hospitality and leisure sectors, 944 local businesses received a £25,000 grant and 976 businesses received a £10,000 grant.
