A poster of businesswomen from Wiltshire and beyond is being created by the organisation Business Against Poverty in celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8.

BAP's parent charity, People Against Poverty, works with women in the UK and overseas who do not have a voice. Often, they are working under abusive conditions.

The theme of this year's campaign is Choose to Challenge.

"We can choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. We can choose to seek out and celebrate women’s achievements. Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world," said Val Huxley, CEO of People against Poverty.

Supporters are being invited to submit a photograph of themselves with a hand raised in solidarity to form part of a poster to highlight the promote International Women’s Day. There is also a request for individual stories, and for donations.
