A world-leading supplier of automotive test systems has continued its move to its new £9 million, state-of-the-art 39,000-square foot manufacturing facility in Bradford-on-Avon, after facing delays due to the pandemic.
The move involved the relocation of 15 huge machines – some weighing more than four tonnes – that form part of AB Dynamics' Engineering Design Centre at Bradford on Avon.
The Centre will be the hub for all prototype design and production of AB Dynamics' world-leading robotics, advanced driver-assistance systems targets, and automotive testing and measurement hardware.
AB Dynamics appointed Bristol-based machinery moving specialists IES, which specialises in the movement of machinery, the relocation of production lines, and the de-installation and re-installation of equipment for a wide range of industries.
AB Dynamics, which also supplies driving simulators and driving robots for the development of autonomous vehicles, counts the world's 25 biggest car makers among their customers. It employs more than 150 people in the town.
