A Swindon-based property search and conveyancing company has been acquired by a Canadian software firm in a deal worth $156 million (£91.5 million).
T M Group, which is based at Delta Business Park, is the UK's leading conveyancing data and search platform, providing more property searches to conveyancers than any other provider.
It has been acquired by Dye & Durham a leading provider of cloud-based software and technology solutions designed to improve efficiency and increase productivity for legal and business professionals, which already serves the requirement of bluechip companies in the UK.
The deal was confirmed today (Thursday, July 8).
Matt Proud, CEO of Dye & Durham, said: "We are pleased to be announcing this latest acquisition as it allows us to further scale our business in the UK and deliver top-tier solutions to the property conveyancing market participants who rely on our technology for their day-to-day activities."
Joe Pepper, T M Group CEO, said: “This represents a huge opportunity and we look forward to everything our next chapter has in store, as we continue to play a leading role in improving the property transaction process for the benefit of all.”
