Tom, who joins from Trethowans Solicitors in Salisbury, where he worked for over 20 years, will use his expertise and experience to help catastrophically injured people with serious personal injury and medical negligence claims.

He qualified as a solicitor in 2007 from the College of Law in Guildford, and he is a well-known legal expert in Salisbury and throughout the South, having been based in the Salisbury and Southampton areas throughout his career. He has represented and supported clients across England and Wales.

Tom brings to Novum Law particular expertise in spinal injuries, severe brain injuries, and fatal accidents. Tom is also very committed to charity work and is currently Chairman and Trustee of the local brain injury charity Headway Salisbury and South Wiltshire.

As an expert in spinal injuries, Tom has strong links with the Spinal Injury Association (SIA). He has put his in-depth knowledge to good use by assisting and advising a specialist UK support group for a rare spinal condition called cauda equina.

He is also a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), The Law Society and is a recommended lawyer in the leading independent Legal 500 2021 Guide.

Tom said: “Novum Law is a dynamic business that specialises in helping people who’ve sustained serious and life-changing injuries, either due to accidents or medical negligence.

"I am looking forward to applying my expertise to help more clients with complex cases and high-value claims and to getting much-needed answers for them and their families.”

Daniel Green, director of Novum Law – which is headquartered in Swindon - said: “With his significant experience in spinal injuries, head and brain injuries, fatal accidents, inquests, and complex, high-value medical negligence compensation claims, I am confident Tom will be a tremendous asset to our already strong team.”
