Amesbury-based pet insurance company Animal Friends has been nominated for two major awards.
The firm has been shortlisted for the Moneywise Customer Service Awards 2015 in the Most Trusted Pet Insurance Provider category.
A survey was completed between January and March this year by consumers, and the information collected has formed the basis of the Moneywise Customer Service Awards 2015. A total of 30,000 consumers completed the survey, making it the biggest poll of financial services customers in the UK.
Animal Friends is shortlisted alongside other major UK per insurers such as John Lewis and Pet Plan, and the winner will be announced at an awards ceremony in June.
This follows on from the company’s recent successes, winning Moneynet Best Pet Insurance Provider of the year 2015 and taking home three prizes from the Consumer Moneyfacts awards 2015, all of which are voted for by consumers.

The company has also been shortlisted for Personal Lines Broking Initiative of the Year category of the British Insurance Awards 2015.
Animal Friends was shortlisted for its innovative online claims system called Pawtal. The system allows same day claims turnaround, which is a first in the pet insurance industry. Pawtal won the insurance Times’ Broker Claims Initiative of the Year at the end of 2014 and now has over 200 vets using the system.
Animal Friends Is competing against business and car insurance companies for the award. The judging panel for the British Insurance Awards is comprised of some of the most notable and respected figures from across the insurance industry.
The winner will be announced at the awards evening on the 8th July at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
