Tiger Plant HireGrowing plant hire firm Tiger Plant Hire has moved to larger premises in Swindon. The firm, which runs a fleet of diggers, dumpers, telehandlers and forklifts which it rents to businesses in the construction industry, has moved to a two-acre site on Bridge End Road.

The new yard has dedicated workshops, offices and enough space to launch a training academy, will run courses for CPCS, Pasma and IPAF qualifications as well as class room based O-licence and CPC modules.

Their recent expansion has seen the appointment of a full time fitter and they are on the hunt for an apprentice to complement their growing team.

Director Andy Rohrer said: “We’ve had a solid start to 2019 and are continuing to make cap-ex investment into new machinery as we approach the 110 unit mark as well as invest in our people.

"The introduction of the training facility will allow us to improve the skills of our own workforce as well as offering a solution to the skills shortage the construction industry currently faces."
