A former Victorian primary school in the historic village of Figheldean, near Salisbury, has become available to buy or to rent.
Property consultancy Myddelton & Major has been instructed to market the former St Michael’s primary school premises, which occupies a site of approximately 0.71 acres (0.287 ha).
It is available either to buy as a freehold property, or to rent on a new lease. The price is available on application and offers are invited for either option.
Myddelton & Major partner Dean Speer said: “This former school site has potential for a range of uses, subject to planning.
“Figheldean is a historic village, mentioned in the Domesday Book, which lies alongside the River Avon on the southern edge of Salisbury Plain.
“The site adjoins established residential development on the southern edge of the village and the Figheldean Social Club is across the road.
“The school building dates back to 1885 and currently has classrooms, offices, and WC facilities. There are also a number of temporary classrooms and the buildings measure 1,647 sq ft.”
