An established truck and trailer supplies firm is set to motor into the future with the purchase of an industrial unit at a popular Amesbury business park.

Property consultancy Myddelton & Major has successfully negotiated the sale of an end of terrace unit at The Beacon Centre, Solstice Park to Wessex Truck and Trailer Supplies. The agents were quoting a price of £269,950.

Myddelton & Major partner Dean Speer said: “Wessex Truck and Trailer Supplies has been in operation since 2004 and provides quality parts and services to hauliers.

“They have a fleet of delivery vehicles for their parts distribution service and they also operate a 24/7 callout service.

The company’s new Amesbury home is a steel frame unit fitted out to a high standard with warehouse/workshop space, offices and cloakroom facilities.

Mr Speer added: “Demand is always high for units at the Beacon Centre – a group of 15 industrial/warehouse units – partly due to its excellent research and development and office facilities.”

The Beacon Centre occupies a prime location at the gateway to Solstice Park, the giant 160-acre mixed-use business park, strategically located with direct access to the A303 dual carriageway at Amesbury.

The park can be described as the gateway to the South West via the A303/M5, is between London and Bristol and has fast access to the ports of Southampton, Portsmouth and Bristol.
