Law firm Awdry Bailey & Douglas has completed the lease of its new office in Swindon as part of the firm’s continued expansion plans.
The newly built, well specified office is part of the Swindon Gateway North business park on Latham Road, adjoining the B4534 Lady Lane and the A419 dual carriageway. The office provides dedicated car parking spaces, is easily accessible via Junction 15 of the M4.
The new office, which is due to open in early 2021, will provide a full range of legal services, including conveyancing, commercial, employment, family law and private client services to the local community throughout Swindon and the surrounding areas.
It will be the firm's fifth base of operation in Wiltshire – it currently has offices in Chippenham, Devizes, Marlborough, and Wootton Bassett.
Tim Hotchkiss, partner and member of ABD’s management board, which has overseen the completion of the lease, said: “Geographic expansion is one of the firm’s key strategic objectives.
"Whilst we already offer our services remotely, through video calls, over the telephone and via email, we understand that being able to access your lawyer in person, in an easily accessible, Covid-19 secure environment, is still highly valued by our clients.
"Being part of the local community is important to us at ABD. Our new Swindon office will enable us to offer easy access to our highly qualified lawyers, who are here to provide not only the trusted, personalised and high quality legal services we are renowned for, but also to help and support local people, local businesses and the wider community as a whole.”
