Organic cafe Eliane has opened in Marlborough's Hughenden Yard in a deal brokered by commercial property agent Kilpatrick & Co, which manages the properties in the precinct.
The cafe has opened at 8-10 Hughenden Yard, which commands a central spot at the precinct, visible from High Street. The premises were previously occupied by breakfast and brunch restaurant Movida.
Eliane offers a healthy organic menu with an extensive brunch menu, including juices and smoothies, especially designed for health and wellbeing.
Proprietor Rafia Willmott said they are creating a tropical oasis from the High Street by making use of the extensive outside space, having installed tree ferns around the courtyard seating area.
The cafe is open from 8am until 5pm seven days a week. Andrew Kilpatrick of Kilpatrick & Co said “We are glad to welcome Eliane into Hughenden Yard and hope their unique brand of hospitality will prove very attractive to Marlborough’s resident population and visitors to the town.”
Eliane operates similar cafes at Ascot and Hungerford.
Kilpatrick & Co is also marketing the town's only nightclub, which is above Eliane, and a retail unit, which is attracting interest.
